Where can I purchase Clearview’s patio door systems?

Clearview has a long-established network of dealers and contractors across Canada, and our products have been used in buildings throughout North America and internationally. Clearview sliding doors have been specified in everything from large-scale residential condominium towers to residential backyard projects. Please use our dealer finder to locate a dealer nearest you, or contact us directly if you have a project where you would like to specify the use of Clearview products.

How long has Clearview been in business?

Established in 1983, this family business has spent more than 40 years becoming a leader in the patio door industry in Canada. Clearview continues to invest in new products and technology to help move the industry forward.

Are your doors manufactured in Canada?

Yes. Clearview doors are manufactured in North York (Toronto), Ontario, Canada, in our 83,000 square foot facility. We are proud of our products — handcrafted by Canadians and built for world markets.

What certifications do your sliding doors meet?

All of our doors are engineered and tested to meet or exceed NAFS (North American Fenestration Standard) and the National Building Code of Canada. We also ensure compliance with regional energy standards, so you can specify our products with confidence on any project.

Are Clearview Industries doors tested and rated?

All Clearview sliding doors undergo stringent laboratory testing to evaluate structural and thermal performance. Test results are available upon request or by signing up for portal access.

Are the doors tested for high-rise performance?

Yes. Our systems undergo rigorous testing for structural wind load, water penetration, and air infiltration. This ensures long-term durability and performance, even in demanding high-rise applications.

What materials are available for the frames?

We manufacture in both aluminum and PVC (vinyl), offering flexibility depending on the needs of your project. Aluminum provides strength and slim sightlines, while PVC delivers outstanding energy efficiency. Hybrid solutions are also available.

Are Clearview doors energy efficient?

Yes. Our thermal break designs and energy-efficient Low-E argon gas glass packages help resist harsh climates while improving comfort and efficiency. Our PVC products are also listed with Natural Resources Canada’s ENERGY STAR® program.

How energy-efficient are your sliding doors?

Our doors feature thermally broken frames and advanced glazing options with low U-values and optimized SHGC ratings. These details contribute to LEED and energy-efficient building requirements while reducing long-term operating costs.

What glazing options do you provide?

We provide double and triple glazing, Low-E coatings, laminated and acoustic glass, as well as tinted options for solar control. This allows you to balance energy efficiency, soundproofing, and aesthetics to suit each project.

Can doors be finished in colours to match my project requirements?

Aluminum doors are finished using spray-coated thermosetting enamel-based paints that add both beauty and durability. These finishes can be custom coloured for your application. Standard paint meets AAMA2603 requirements and can be upgraded to meet AAMA2605 specifications. Anodized finishes are also available. PVC doors are painted using a water-based paint system and are available in a wide variety of standard colours, including custom interior and exterior finishes.

Are there design options to match the building’s style?

Yes. We offer a wide range of frame colors, anodized and powder-coated finishes, slimline profiles, handle styles, and integrated blind systems to help you achieve a clean, modern look that aligns with your architectural vision.

Can the doors be customized for larger openings?

Absolutely. We offer a wide range of configurations, including oversized panels, multi-panel, and stacking door systems. Each is engineered to maintain strength and weather performance, no matter the scale of your design.

Will you manufacture the door to fit my existing openings?

Absolutely. With a large variety of standard sizes and configurations, along with the capability to produce custom-sized products, Clearview can provide a solution for virtually any sliding door project.

How do you ensure safety and security?

Our doors are built with tempered or laminated safety glass, reinforced frames, and multi-point locking hardware. They meet all balcony and fall protection regulations, offering peace of mind for both developers and residents.

What is involved in installation on high-rise projects?

We design with installers in mind. Our systems are compatible with unitized installation methods, crane lifts, and staged deliveries to accommodate tight construction schedules and minimize on-site challenges.

What kind of warranty and maintenance support do you offer?

Every system comes with a comprehensive warranty covering frames, glass, and hardware. Our doors are designed for long-term reliability, and replacement parts are readily available to simplify future maintenance.
