These lightweight but reliable and efficient door products can be utilized in many applications. The narrow frame allows installation over existing patio doors to improve security and thermal performance. The 1000 series can be manufactured with an exterior flange suitable to be installed in Recreational Vehicles and other applications for exterior face installation, complete with pvc covers to offer an attractive finish. If you are building a screen room, the 1000 series frame can be used with two screens to enclose a porch or pool area, or upgrade to a screen insert system to offer elegance to your bug-free sitting area.

Standard Features

One operating panel and one fixed panel.
Each panel is equipped with two adjustable steel rollers for easy squaring.
Panels are dry glazed which contain tempered safety glass, utilizing from 3mm to 6mm glass thickness.
Panels can be substituted with a 5/8” OA thermal unit.
Complete with a lock with night safety latch and recessed keeper.
Fully reversible (if ordered with the double interlock system).
High strength 6063-T6 aluminum extrusion prevents warping, twisting, and bowing.
All aluminum baked enamel finish (excluding sill, mill finish).
Full perimeter, double weather-strip reduces water and air infiltration.

Additional Options

1. Screen can be ordered with aluminum mesh or pet mesh
2. All panels operating (each sash will have a locking system)
3. Sashes can be offered with a screen insert (No Glass)
